The thing that will get you to cross the finish line (because pure grind and hustle can only get you so far…)

Do you ever feel like you’re stuck on a hamster wheel? Like you’re constantly going and going but not actually getting anywhere?

You’re not alone, I’ve had countless people tell me the same thing.

We’re constantly being bombarded with marketing messages leading to the next big thing that you need to implement in your business. And it’s hard not to feel like you have to do them all. Or drop what you’re doing now because this NEXT thing is more cutting edge than that OTHER thing, so of course, it must work better.

So we end up with this hodge-podge of half-implemented strategies that get us nowhere.

Been there, done that.

How do you get off the hamster wheel and actually get going places?

Step 1: Decide where you’re going. (Tropical beach here I come!)

Step 2: Get a map and directions (or a good travel agent to map it out for you).

Step 3: Follow those directions all the way to the end to reach your destination.

The same is true in your business.

Step 1: Get some clarity on where you want to go. What does your ideal business look like? Who do you want to work with? What can you help them with? How do you want to help them do that? This becomes your Niche, your System, and your Offers.

Step 2: Map out your road-map for your business. Now that you know what you’re offering and to who…it’s time to plan out the when and the how. Grab a calendar and plug in your offers. Decide which strategies you’ll be using to promote your offers and map out your timeline from there. Will you need a travel agent (a coach), a co-pilot (team) or will a good GPS system (Click Funnels, Infusionsoft, Ontraport, etc) get you there? Bring on the team and tools to help you navigate your way to your destination.

Step 3: Follow your plan to the very end. Don’t let life’s distractions derail you. Sometimes detours happen. Be sure to get back on track. Don’t be discouraged if things aren’t going exactly according to plan. Flights get delayed, cruises get re-routed. Traffic jams. That’s life. Keep going all the way to the end. All of the hiccups, delays, cancellations, etc are the feedback that will help you plan a better trip next time! And it’s all worth it in the end when you’re enjoying that massage on the beach 🙂
